Loudoun Valley Cafeteria Memorializes Freddie Wright

The Loudoun Valley High School community is doing its part to honor and remember Freddie Wright, the longtime custodian who worked his entire 40-year career at the high school in Purcellville.

At the request of Principal Susan Ross, the School Board officially named the high school’s cafeteria Freddie Wright Cafeteria after the custodian. He died on April 24, 2017, when he was still an active employee of Loudoun County Public Schools.

A resolution adopted Jan. 23 by the board states, “Mr. Wright was at the services of the Loudoun Valley High School day and night for all requests associated with the school and was always gracious and accommodating to students, faculty and staff, and the community.”
