The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported sexual assault of a juvenile that happened Friday night in the Lansdowne area.
Deputies were called on Saturday to Inova Loudoun Hospital where the victim arrived and reported she had been sexually assaulted the previous evening.
The teenager reported between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Friday, March 16, she was walking in the area of Lees Mill Square when she was grabbed and assaulted.
The suspect was described as a tall Hispanic male, approximately 18-years-old, and was wearing a black sweatshirt with the hood up and jeans with holes in them. He had a short beard and a mustache and short curly hair with a small white patch of hair or bald spot on the back of his head. He had a red and gold U.S. Marine Corp lanyard hanging from a pocket of his jeans.
After the assault, the suspect left the area on foot. The victim went home and reported the incident to her family the following evening.
Detectives released a composite sketch of the suspect.
