It was relatively balmy today, but the National Weather Service says that will change quickly. By Wednesday, some parts of Loudoun County could be under 5 inches of snow, according to a Winter Storm Watch issued this afternoon.
Wet snow and sleet is expected in the area Tuesday, with up to an inch of accumulation.
Conditions may worsen Wednesday, when 5 or more inches of snow is possible, according to the forecast.
Residents are urged to plan for slippery road conditions, starting with the morning rush hour Tuesday—the first day of spring.
