Law Enforcement Asks for Help Identifying Robbery Suspect

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance to help identify the suspect involved in two robberies in the Dulles South area. 

At 7:40 a.m. today, a male suspect entered the Sunoco A-Plus store in the 43000 Block of Defender Drive, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The suspect walked into the employee office and took an employee to the front registers. The suspect implied that he had a handgun and demanded cash. He stole cash and fled on foot from the store.

Just after 8 a.m. today, the Sheriff’s Office responded to the 24000 Block of Pinebrook Drive for a report of a robbery. The same male suspect entered the store, implied he had a weapon and demanded cash. He stole cash and fled the area on foot.

No injuries were reported during either of the incidents.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 30s or 40s, 5 feet 10 inches tall, and 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black coat with a gray sweatshirt, black pants and black gloves.    

Surveillance stills of the suspects were obtained from the businesses.
