Throughout World Autism Month in April, select Topgolf venues—including Loudoun’s—are providing individuals with special needs and their families with a sensory-friendly environment so they can enjoy the Topgolf experience to the fullest.
On select Saturday mornings throughout April, guests and their families will be able to participate in two hours of a sensory-friendly Topgolf experience. Venue modifications will include: specially trained staff, a private entrance, reserved bays with assigned staff, dimmed lights, TVs and music turned off, and shuffle board and pool tables covered.
In addition to venue modifications, participating families will receive complimentary lifetime memberships to Topgolf, which can be redeemed online or upon arrival at the event. Family event packages are $50 and include one reserved bay that holds up to six players, two hours of game play and complimentary club rentals. Food and beverage will be available for purchase at the event.
“Topgolf is everyone’s game, and we’re committed to making the experience fun for every person who visits,” said Topgolf Entertainment Group Chief Executive Officer Dolf Berle. “Small modifications to our guest experience can make a world of difference for families with special needs, and we are excited to help more people enjoy what Topgolf has to offer.”
Topgolf’s Loudoun location will participate in the sensory-friendly event Saturday, April 28, from 9-11 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at topgolf.com/sensoryday.
