Leesburg Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash after Wheelie

Fairfax County Police detectives say high speed was a contributing factor in a Friday evening motorcycle crash that took the life of a Leesburg man.

According to the report, Reginald Blake Jr., 33, lost control of his motorcycle at the intersection of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway and Pleasant Valley Road. Police say Blake was doing a wheelie when crashed through some brush and then over a ravine where he was thrown from the bike.

He was transported to an area hospital where he died.
