Those who want to donate money to the cause can donate at loudounhunger.org/donate-now; write “Ashburn Cares” in the dedication space. Checks can also be mailed to Loudoun Hunger Relief at 750 Miller Drive Ste A-1, Leesburg, VA 20175.
Ashburn Cares is a group of nearly 100 friends and neighbors in Ashburn who have come together to fight food insecurity in Loudoun County with a food and fund drive to benefit the county’s largest food pantry. So far, the group has raised more than $20,000 and collected more than 10,000 pounds of food.
“We are committed to our efforts to alleviate hunger in Loudoun County,” Courter said. “We are fortunate to be in a position to help our neighbors, and we will persevere in this important work.”
