Leesburg’s first Sylvan Learning Center opened its doors Saturday. The new center is at 1608 Village Market Blvd. SE Suite 100 in the Village at Leesburg.
This will be local owners Sue and Deep Kataria’s second location. They also own a Sylvan Learning Center in Sterling.
“Children of all grades have been taking Sylvan classes at our Sterling center and we have seen great success in their academics. We have faith in the Sylvan system—it works,” Deep Kataria stated. “We are confident and know it not only helps build their academic excellence and confidence, but it keeps the children motivated and driven.”
“I encourage everyone to take some time out of their day to research the brand. We are proud of the wonderful reviews we’ve received from our customers at our Sterling location. We knew we had to open up another location to serve the Leesburg community,” Sue Kataria stated.
The Leesburg center will be managed by Sandy Mantri, who has a background in education, nursing and commerce and has been operating learning centers for several years. She will be hiring qualified directors and certified teachers, both full-time and part-time.
Mantri is offering a 10 percent discount for families of military, veterans, police and first responders in the Leesburg community. Families new to the Sylvan Learning model can receive one free lesson. Free lessons will be held on Fridays and will be available during the next two months.
