Potomac Bancshares Inc. the holding company of the Bank of Charles Town has namedStephen Cowen as its senior vice president and director of Mortgage Banking and Gwen Miller as its Virginia mortgage production support manager.
Cowen, formerly vice president and senior loan officer with Atlantic Coast Mortgage and director of mortgage production with Middleburg Mortgage, will lead BCT’s team of 10 mortgage professionals. The Leesburg resident has more than 30 years of financial services experience and over 20 years of mortgage origination experience.

Miller, formerly residential portfolio manager with Middleburg Bank, began her banking career with Middleburg Mortgage in 2001. The Purcellville resident is past president of the Loudoun County Board of the American Cancer Society and past planning committee chairwoman for the Relay for Life.
