Loudoun County is conducting a survey to analyze the availability of broadband in the county and the various technologies used to deliver broadband services. The data will be used to help identify ways to improve broadband service.
Ensuring adequate broadband and cellular access has been cited as a priority of the Board of Supervisors to support businesses and help students.
Information collected in the survey will be shared with broadband service providers and community planners to identify opportunities for improvements. Information from the survey responses will be displayed on an interactive map.
Members of the public are encouraged to take the survey, which is open until June 29, at www.loudoun.gov/BroadbandSurvey. It’s also being shared through the county’s GeoHub, a new resource for GIS information, at www.loudoun.gov/GeoHub.
