The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash that took the life of an Ohio man Friday morning.
According to the report, the crash happened at 8:40 a.m. May 18 on Dulles Landing Drive. Walter Longoria Jr., 42, of Toledo, OH, was driving westbound and ran into a tractor trailer that was parked at the dead-end of the road. Longoria died at the scene.
Longoria was wearing a seatbelt, but other elements of the crash remained under investigation Monday morning.
It was the fourth highway fatality in Loudoun County so far in 2018. At the same time last year, there had been 11 highway deaths.
