While celebrating is 50th anniversary this year, the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce is enjoying record membership growth.
In May, 26 businesses joined the chamber and so far, in 2018 more than 145 local businesses have joined—both records for an individual month and first half of any year. The Loudoun Chamber remains the largest chamber in Northern Virginia, with membership exceeding 1,250 member companies.
“We are grateful for every business, nonprofit or public-sector partner that has made the decision to invest in the Chamber to help grow their own business, while working for a world-class quality of life and economy for all Loudoun businesses and citizens,” President and CEO Tony Howard stated. “To see our chamber continue to thrive and set records for membership well into our 50th year is a testament to the strong leadership provided by our Board of Directors, our membership and staff.”
“There is a really unique landscape at our Chamber. We have businesses who have just started two weeks ago, to businesses established in the county two decades ago. Each member comes to us with a different motivation to join,” stated Member Relations Manager Abby Moreau. “Typically, we see companies wanting to give back to the community, grow their business, stand out in a crowd, or help others achieve their goals. It’s really exciting to see these folks come together and continue to grow this great community.”
