Carolyn Dobson, the former chief marketing officer for Play To Win/Evergreen Sportsplex, has been tapped to lead marketing, business development and community outreach efforts for The National Sports Medicine Institute.
Co-founded by brothers Dr. David Johnson and Dr. Timothy Johnson 11 years ago, the full-service sports medicine and orthopaedic clinic has offices in Lansdowne and Sterling. NSMI is the orthopaedic partner of the Evergreen Sportsplex, Loudoun Soccer, the Frederick Keys, the Purcellville Cannons, as well as the orthopaedic and sports performance partner with many area high schools.
“We are thrilled to bring Carolyn on board,” Johnson stated. “We have worked with her as a partner of Evergreen Sportsplex for three years and her passion, creativity and dedication to being part of making Loudoun County an even better community is a perfect fit to join our team. We look forward to working with Carolyn in efforts to grow our practice and service offerings.”
Dobson has been with Play To Win, LLC/Evergreen Sportsplex for several years and was instrumental in the naming rights to the complex as well as their campaigns to win Innovative Business of the Year in 2016 and Small Business of the Year in 2017 for the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce.
“I have really enjoyed working with all of the team at NSMI as part of our partnership program,” Dobson stated. “They are truly visionaries in their field and have some really amazing initiatives coming online in the next year. I am excited to be part of it.”
