On and off rain showers, combined with romping, wet canines, ensured just about everybody got wet at Saturday’s Leesburg Dog Swim.
It was the 10thyear for the popular event at the A.V. Symington Aquatic Center, as the outdoor water park prepares to be drained for the end of its season. As is customary, area pooches got to enjoy the last laps of the pool, and the cool fall-feeling temps did little to dissuade from swimming, jumping, and fetching. The less nautically-inclined dogs enjoyed their romps around the perimeter of the pool as well as the ample grassy areas.
