The Loudoun Education Association is putting on a How to be a Candidate workshop from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29.
The workshop is designed for Loudoun County residents who have not run for public office and are considering becoming more politically active. It will focus on how prospective candidates can prepare themselves personally and politically to be a community leader. Attendees will learn how to decide whether to run, organize a campaign staff, develop their message, raise funds, communicate with voters, and work with the media.
