LoCoSports: Woodgrove Controls All Three Phases in Rout of Dominion

Just a week after rolling over Dulles District foe Riverside, Woodgrove High School dominated Dominion in shutout fashion. The Wolverines controlled all three phases of the game to spoil the Titans’ Homecoming, their senior night and their first game on their brand new turf field, 42-0.

“Our goal every year is to try and win the district one game at a time,” Woodgrove senior quarterback Graham Walker said. “We have great momentum and team chemistry. These guys are my best friends.”

Woodgrove got the scoring started when junior running back KJ Lewis scored on an 11-yard rushing touchdown midway through the first quarter.
