Letter: Anthony V. Fasolo, Leesburg

Editor: Bad news about signs being stolen from private property across from Ida Lee Park on Rt. 15 this week.
A very large Wexton/Kaine(4′ X 8′ ) sign was stolen along with smaller signs for each one of the Dems running for office in Leesburg’s town council race.
l believe that this is a crime (strange the Comstock sign that had been up since July was never disturbed but now, Dem signs  that went up a few days ago are gone)–conclusion?
Can Republicans be so desperate??.

Anyone involved in politics knows that messing with the road-side trash known as campaign signs is a distasteful part of the game.

When your candidate is a tax hiking, gun grabbing, anti-Due Process, honesty challenged individual, there’s not much else to snivel about.
This letter is as petty as it is revealing.

Strange you say maybe you should get out more. Comstock signs have been stolen even from elected Supervisors property. Dave Brat signs vandalized numerous times and how about the Corey Stewart signs graffitied with swastikas on Cascades? I don’t condone destroying any party’s political signs but your grasping at straws to say republicans are so desperate when you do not acknowledge the damage to the republican signs. Look at Morris county for more democrat destruction and I have not heard of a single democrat headquarters having their windows smashed, have you? Just for the record Wexton will vote to raise taxes! Just for the record 2, vote Barbara Comstock!

Speaking of signs how about the Corey Stewart sign taken from Minuteman Arms?

Anthony, no reply? How about the republican signs removed from private property on Winding road. I think the people who stole the Wexton signs have good hearts just poor judgement. On the other hand swastikas on republican signs is essence a democrat black heart!
