Letter: Laura Berish, Hillsboro

Editor: They say all politics are local. This is the moment to vote for candidate Jennifer Wexton who will legislate to lower gun violence.

In the town I work in, a man is selling a handgun on the street. He is robbed of this gun and considers himself a victim. How was this potential sale legal? Now there is a handgun that is unaccounted for in our community.

I assume there is a lot more to this story than the brief details now available. I know that it outrages and frightens me to think of such transactions occurring in our community.

Time to vote in people who want fewer guns on the streets and better regulations protecting us all.

‘Amazing’ if you relish in the incoherent. What town? What man? What robbery? When?

Oh boy. Victim shaming at its best. There’s a letter to the editor coming up.

She is referring to the robbery of a man in Hamilton who attempted to sell a handgun in front of a residence on the evening of October 9
