Leesburg Celebrates Halloween with a Parade

Ghost, goblins and a host of political candidates will march through downtown Leesburg tonight during the 62nd Annual Kiwanis Halloween Parade.

The parade will begin at Ida Lee Park at 6 p.m., and travel down King Street to Fairfax Street.

Spectators are encouraged to wear costumes and bring a container to get candy from parade units.

Also, the public is encouraged to bring a canned good or paper product to be donated to Loudoun Hunger Relief.

King Street will be closed to traffic between Bridgette Place and Catoctin Circle, beginning at 5:30 p.m. No cross traffic will allowed across King Street during the parade. Streets should reopen at approximately 9 p.m.
