Dulles will become Alitalia’s sixth passenger service gateway in the United States. The airline offers more than 3,600 weekly flights while providing connections across the Delta, Air France-KLM and Virgin Atlantic networks.
The Dulles-Rome flights, using Airbus A330-200 aircraft, will depart at 4:15 p.m. Thursday through Monday and arrive at 9:30 a.m. those days. Fare on the flights features regional Italian cuisine and premium wines selected by Alitalia’s official sommelier in collaboration with the Italian Sommelier Foundation.
