Letter: Beth May, MInneapolis, MN

Editor: Joe May, my father, is very experienced at working with and leading people to accomplish goals that benefit many. With 20 years of experience in the Virginia House of Delegates, he hopes to return to the Virginia state legislature, to continue improving the quality of life for Fairfax and Loudoun County residents. He is a well respected and pragmatic businessman, electrical engineer, and community leader. Though what matters most to him, is helping people live better lives. This is why he is running as the Republican candidate in the special Virginia state Senate election on January 8.

Joe’s ability to collaborate with others, and formulate and deliver inventive, practical solutions to help people, is what makes him such a successful legislator and leader. The broad scope of his contributions includes :
• joining forces with both Republicans and Democrats, as House Transportation committee chairman, to develop innovative ways to deliver desperately needed transportation funding to Northern Virginia
• guiding efforts of the Loudoun Laurels Foundation and George Marshall International Center to provide exchange programs and scholarships for college students
• coordinating the work of engineers, pilots and the Federal Aviation Administration, to develop and implement improved aircraft safety electronics

Special election turnouts are small, so your vote is important. Show your support for an experienced, effective problem solver, who will continue to improve the quality of life in Leesburg, Herndon and Sterling, as a Virginia state Senator. Please vote for Joe May on January 8 !

Joe May is not the ideal Senate Candidate”. ” As oppose to all of those perfect people. This is one of the insanities of the Never Joe May Republicans, leftists, and others.
Since when is it a valid complaint that Joe May is not perfect?
We choose among the available candidates.
We do not choose a perfect person, nor should we ever expect a Senator to be perfect.
    This attitude is truly absurd.
Vote for Joe May on January 8th, the best choice in the race!

He lost by a significant margin in ’13 & ’14. What makes you think Loudoun would want him back. It’s best he stay out of Loudoun politics.

One reason is we realize daily by the comments on her own page that Wexton is a partisan in the extreme and again so is Joe May’s opponent this time. Sooner or later we have to quit promoting mistakes just because of their gender or race. Joe did lose to LaRock and Whitbeck yet they both think enough of Joe to support his efforts in this race. Joe May won 12 out of 14 political contests which translates to a really good winning percentage. His opponent is from the John Foust campaign and we all see the good he has done for Fairfax. Fixing mistakes is what Joe May does as in engineering, we can fix our mistake by electing Joe May to the Senate!
