The Woodgrove Varsity Gymanstics team for took first place at the Dec. 13 meet at Potomac Falls High School.
Woodgrove’s score of 139.700 topped the scores for Potomac Falls (130.325), Loudoun County (126.5), Broad Run (118.475) and Heritage (117.375).
Woodgrove Senior River Stone took first place in all-around with first place finishes on all four apparatus. Junior Jodi Snare placed third all-around, with third on vault, fifth on bars, and second on floor. Sophomore Meghan Dunster was fifth all-around with a fish on vault and sixth on beam. Laura McMullen placed fourth on floor and Corynne Rittner placed fifth; both are sophomores. Freshman Angela Gutierrez placed fourth on bars and sixth on floor.
The team’s next competition will be this Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 7 p.m. at Stone Bridge High School.
