Dr. Kelly S. Foltman, owner ofDunthorpe Farm Veterinary Services in Hillsboro, has been appointed by Gov. Ralph Northam to serve on the Virginia Horse Industry Board.
Established in 1994, the 12-member board is responsible for the promotion and economic development of the horse industry in Virginia and operates through the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
Foltman has been a practicing veterinarian for more than 20 years and moved to Loudoun County in 2011. In her practice at Dunthorpe Farm, she specializes in enhancing equine and small animal wellness and performance through a holistic approach using chiropractic, acupuncture and occasional herbal treatments. She also offers equine dentistry and nutritional consultation.
