Purses Stolen from Cars in Ashburn Shopping Plaza

A rash of car break-ins in the Ashburn Shopping Plaza on Thursday morning resulted the thefts of five purses and a wallet.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the theft or thieves broke the windows of seven cars, finding valuables to steal in six of them. The break-ins occurred between 6 and 7 a.m. while the vehicle owners were inside a business in the Ashburn Village shopping center.
