Editor: Yes, America, Virginia’s Democrats really did elect the Three Stooges to the commonwealth’s highest offices. Is that surprising? Remember, these are the people who insist that they know what’s best for everyone else. Towering intellectuals, or so they think. It’s a good thing that they are dead wrong—again—isn’t it? So no, this is no surprise.
Let’s see, we have an op-ed from Mr. Nevarez condemning dozens of national, state and local Republicans for the crime of defeating their Democrat opponents in free and fair elections. A terrible thing, indeed. There should be a law, huh? What his letter really represents is a pathetic attempt to deflect attention away from the Democrat sponsored circus going on in Richmond. I call the reader’s attention to the last sentence: “… we will continue working to elect Democrats who represent those values in their life (sic) and hold those values in their heart (sic).” Yeah! That’s how Northam, Fairfax and Herring were elected, right? Right! Virginia Democrats are doing exceptionally well in that respect. Keep up the good work.
Then, we have yet another visit from the imprisoned Japanese Americans of the 1942-1946 era, transported here from South Riding by Mr. Ihara. It is startling how he unrelentingly tries to tie that long dead issue to any unrelated event under the sun. Such as AG Herring!
Is it not hilarious that AG Herring recently conducted a statewide tour to drum up support for his arsenal of counter “hate crime” weaponry (oh, and for his upcoming campaign for governor, too!)? A lily white AG who admits to wearing black face is preaching to us about “hate crimes.” This is so, so rich! Whew! Undoubtedly, he deserves the “sacrament” Mr. Ihara refers to … only because he’s the party’s favorite in the next gubernatorial election. I guess they have to try to salvage at least one of their reputations? Things must be pretty desperate for you folks.
So to Mr. Nevarez, Mr. Ihara, and all of the rest of you who feel so wronged by this great country—and it is a great country—Dulles Airport is an easy drive from anywhere in Loudoun County. There are 38 airlines there who would be happy to sell you a one-way ticket to somewhere else. I would suggest Venezuela. Do yourselves, and us, a favor.
