Loudoun Student Charged in Florida School Threat

A Stone Bridge High School student was arrested Friday on allegations that he made a threat toward a school in Broward County, FL.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office was contacted Thursday, May 9, by a member of the Broward County Sheriff’s Office after investigators determined that a threat made through the internet originated from a Ashburn home. Charges were obtained by authorities in Florida on May 10 and he was taken into custody in Loudoun County.

It was determined there was no threat to any Loudoun schools.
