Northwest Federal Credit Union last week opened its second Loudoun County branch, on Washington Street in Middleburg.
It is the credit union’s eighth public branch and is located in a town that contains more than 2,500 credit union members and business accounts. Present at the opening were representatives from the Loudoun County and Dulles Regional Chambers of Commerce, the Middleburg Town Council and local businesses.
“We’re excited to bring the credit union difference to Middleburg and be a part of such a tight knit, vibrant community … and we hope that Middleburg will come to think of us as their hometown credit union,” said Jeff Bentley, President and CEO of Northwest Federal.
According to a statement from the credit union, Northwest Federal works closely with local organizations like the Sprout Therapeutic Riding and Education Center and Friends of Homeless Animals as part of its Community Partner Program.
Established in 1947 and headquartered in Herndon, it is one of the largest credit unions in Virginia, serving more than 260,000 members.
