Letter: Rose Ellen Ray, Leesburg

Editor: Opponents (Laura Berish, Anthony V. Fasolo letters) of President Trump are missing out on learning about the greatest FBI/DOJ/media scandal in American political history.  They seem to prefer to remain in the dark.  Evidence, however, is emerging that they have been lied to for two and a half years.

The entire investigation had no legal basis and was conducted by conflicted attorneys and promoted by a biased media. Even the eminent former Harvard law professor and democrat, Alan Dershowitz, is appalled at the abuse of power, not from Trump, but from the FBI, DOJ and other Trump detractors in our leadership. Dershowitz is no sloppy researcher (either was Gregg Jarrett).

On close examination of the Mueller report that could not find collusion, researchers are discovering a report that is full of errors, deceptions, and omissions, like exculpatory evidence, anything to show President Trump in the worst possible light.

I don’t remember Mr. Fasolo’s letter but the one by Ms. Berish was a vapid regurgitation of ignorance, as she admits she never read Gregg Jarrett’s book and pointed to the fact he was a Fox news consultant and attorney; therefore, presumably ———– (something or nothing?). Never-mind he worked for NBC, ABC, and PBS too. I hardly love President Trump but the over-the-top desperation by the media to make him out to be something he is not, is quite a disservice. I do love the fact that he has pulled back the curtain on the WDC swamp and the biased media, something long overdue. I would like for this administration to get a grip on the budget and out-of-control spending, also long overdue.
