The Town of Lovettsville is accepting applications for the position of project manager until the Friday, Sept. 13 deadline.
The selected candidate will assist in the administration and coordination of all public works infrastructure projects, capital projects and related activities and will work on water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, street maintenance, park maintenance, snow removal and trash collection services. The position pays $60,000 to $75,000.00 annually, plus benefits.
Candidates interested in applying should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum three years municipal government experience or project management experience. A degree in civil or environmental engineering, a background in construction management, and registration as a professional engineer in Virginia are all plusses. A project management certification is preferred.
The selected candidate will be required to complete the VDOT Locally Administered Projects Qualification Program within six months of being hired.
