The Humane Society of Loudoun County has been selected as the Giant Food “Community Bag Program” beneficiary for September at the Giant Food located at 61 Catoctin Circle, NE, Leesburg. HSLC will receive a $1 donation every time the $2.50 reusable community bag is purchased at that store.
The Giant Food Community Bag Program, which launched in July, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.
“We are grateful to the Catoctin Circle Giant in Leesburg for selecting us to benefit from their Community Bag Program this September. Community involvement is essential to our mission to increase public awareness about our programs and the donations from the sale of the reusable bags will help us provide care for our at-risk and homeless animals,” stated HSLC’s President, Juanita Easton.
