Former Vice President and current Democratic presidential primary candidate Joe Biden will be in Sterling Sunday to kick off canvassing efforts for Democrats.
Biden and former Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe will stop at Democrats’ office in Sterling to support get-out-the-vote efforts in Northern Virginia. The visit comes only two days before voters head to the polls on Tuesday.
Biden is currently one of three frontrunners in a historically crowded presidential primary. He will also be the first candidate in that primary to visit Loudoun during the race. He served as vice president of the United States under President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2017, and formerly represented Delaware in the United States Senate.
