Van Metre Homes will hold a celebratory opening of its Estate Collection Model, The Timberneck II, at the Meadowbrook Farm neighborhood in Leesburg from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16.
Nationally acclaimed chef Spike Mendelsohn will be at the opening to oversee a pop-up of his new restaurant concept, PLNT Burger, and will offer complimentary food and drinks. In addition, the kitchen and bar will be activated inside the model home.The event is open to the public.
“We are excited to work with Spike and introduce additional people to one of our most coveted model homes, the Timberneck II, at Meadowbrook Farm as well as the latest culinary trend in plant-based foods,” said Glenn Forester, vice president of marketing with Van Metre Homes. Plans are in the works to develop a larger partnership between Mendelsohn and Van Metre Homes.
This year, Mendelsohn opened his first PLNT Burger, a plant-based burger joint featuring Beyond Meat. The one-day pop-up at Meadowbrook Farm will provide an opportunity for Northern Virginia residents to experience the Meadowbrook Farm community, enjoy the latest PLNT Burger fare and meet Mendelsohn.
