Yet another example of the carnage that permeates our roadways. When I go out for a walk, I literally feel as if I’m risking my life. The average car weighs more than a ton & they’re coming at you from every direction. My prayers go out to the victim & his family.

Jaywalking used to be against the law. Pedestrians have become arrogant and blatantly cross wherever they want, no matter what the signage says or in the middle of a street. I am scared to death that I’m going to hit someone and no matter what, it’s going to be my fault. 3 women with baby carriages crossing 15 byway by outlets! People driving 60 mph there and no crosswalk. Hello!
BTW ..Leesburg has THE worst drivers and we have town cops, sheriff and Staties and no one pays attention to red lights, speed limits or pedestrian crossings. I sat next to a town cop whike 5 cars ran a red light..I looked at him and he shrugged!
    Entitlement runs rampant here!
