High School Sexual Assailant to Register as Sex Offender

In a hearing Wednesday, disposition orders were given to the teen who sexually assaulted two schoolmates while attending Stone Bridge High School and then Broad Run High School.

The 15-year-old is required to undergo supervised probation in a residential facility until he is 18 years old. He is also required to register as a sex offender for life.

The first assault occurred at Stone Bridge High School on May 28. The teen was arrested on July 13. He was transferred to Broad Run High School, where he assaulted the second victim on Oct. 7.

Both victims were present in the Jan. 12 hearing.

An investigation into the school division’s handling of the assaults, ordered by the division and called an “independent investigation,” was completed yesterday. The report from the investigation is being withheld, with the school division citing attorney-client privilege.

Thank you Loudoun Now for this factual summary of the court proceedings. No frills, no embellishments. I hope this will help bring closure to the victims, their families & the larger community. It’s painfully clear these incidents had nothing to do with the Trans community. The rapist is like the majority of rapists in America. He identifies as a straight, white male. My sincerest good wishes to the victims as they embark on a long journey of recovery. May their privacy be respected during that journey. Happy MLK Day Loudoun!

What are you talking about? This was drivel. Loudoun County School Board should be ashamed of themselves, as should the superintendent. And now they hide behind attorney-client privilege so the “independent” report is not released? LOL. Hopefully, come Saturday, we will have a new commonwealth AG that will quickly change that. The board and sup should resign now before they are embarrassed even further.

And stop commenting on every single article. It’s tiresome.

They should be on 24/7 monitoring via a GPS tracker.
“Happy Sex Offender Monitoring Day, Loudoun !”

Yet, another reason to push for school vouchers. You try to raise your child to follow the ten commandments, go to church every week. You strive to be the best parent possible and increase your child’s spiritual growth in a communion of good and decent people. Every parent regardless of their race, creed, economic status deserves to decide which school their child or children attend. Safety first was not the priority of the school if this was permitted to occur. There are no excuses. None. When parents get angry, they need to voice it. This school board should be ashamed.

Uh, no, zero taxpayer dollars should be used because you want your children to be taught the ten commandments. You’re entitled to worship how you want on your own time, but don’t demand a taxpayer subsidy to do so. This isn’t protesting public schools, it’s just blatant rent seeking.

For as much waste as there might be in public school systems, vouchers and their cousin charter schools are more closely associated with fraud. No thanks.

So he’s mentally ill, not gender fluid. Great news. We can stop disrupting school board meetings because fox fake news told us to.

Take your children out of public schools. The school system doesn’t care about your children!

The board and Ziegler all need to resign or be removed. Clearly the board and school admin handled these two incidents improperly and they are hiding the report. There is no other reason to bury the report. Had they done the right thing the first time, there wouldn’t have been a second crime.

Remember this when they tell you “it’s for the children.”

I agree that Jonathan should take his kids out of public schools. If people like him would do that, we could have some peace and get on with educating our kids.

I mean, if you’re going to cry about incompetence, you might as well have a look at the new anti-CRT legislation from our new education governor. Among other things, it demands that schools teach students about the time Abraham Lincoln faced off against Frederick Douglass in the Lincoln-Douglas debates. I’m not making this up. This is the legislative language released this week. If this is the “history” the nuts who railed against the phantom of CRT want taught, I’m kind of at a loss for words. I mean, that’s some serious revisionist history right there.

Our children never spent a day in a public school. So, you get all the responsibility for the “success” and “achievements” of Loudoun County Public Schools in the last several years.

It appears that HB 781 was incorrectly edited by state employees. In fact, the state agency has admitted they made the mistake and introduced the error. Of course, I wouldn’t expect people of your intellectual capacity to get even a basic fact right.

The state does nothing well, and they admitted it, and yet you still blame it on someone else. Well done!

Virginia’s Division of Legislative Services said on Thursday that the error in the bill “was inserted during the drafting process” by the agency.

“The erroneous citation of Frederick Douglass, in relation to the Lincoln-Douglas debates between Abraham Lincoln and Stephen Douglas, was inserted at the drafting level, following receipt of a historically accurate request from the office of Delegate Wren Williams,” the agency said.

The judge said there is a 3rd victim she is aware of. It just keeps getting worse. And LCPS enabled this predator to push a political agenda. Education vouchers now!

No, he’s been found guilty of sexual assaults and is a registered sex offender, whether or not he also is mentally ill and/or gender fluid. And people attending school board meetings to voice their extreme concern and upset over the school system’s handling of the first reported assault (especially the parent of one of the victims, who was informed by the Superintendent that there had been no sexual assaults in school restrooms, after the Superintendent had sent out an e-mail notifying the school board members of the assault) were more than justified in expressing (even loudly, out of turn and in a less than polite manner) their legitimate outrage.

Two convicted counts of rape and he gates residential treatment? The sex offender registration is a good start. Has nothing to do with his gender. The fact that it happened once and this board under Ziegler just move him to another school and lied about it. Every member of that board is still responsible for enabling this. This is just the beginning.

You couldn’t PAY me enough to send my kids to LCPS now. Mine all graduated almost 20 years ago, when LCPS was a place of pride
