Ashburn School Employee Charged with Intoxication on Campus

A staff member at Rosa Lee Carter Elementary School was charged with public intoxication March 8, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

According to the report, just after 2 p.m. an administrator contacted the school resource deputy to report an employee who may be intoxicated at work. The deputy found her to be under the influence of alcohol.

Jennifer L. Intihar, 49 of Haymarket, was arrested and taken to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where she was released on her own recognizance.

    Very sad to read about this alleged episode. Substance abuse can be devastating to everyone involved. If the allegations are true, I hope the young lady gets the help she sorely needs. Happy Women’s History Month Loudoun!
