It’s Cleanup Weekend in Purcellville

The Town of Purcellville is partnering with Keep Loudoun Beautiful for its annual town-wide cleanup this weekend.

Individuals and groups will be out in force Saturday and Sunday afternoons to pick up litter along roadsides and trails.

The town invites residents, families, individuals, sports teams/organizations, scouts, church groups, and all other volunteers to participate in this beneficial effort which will focus on roadside and trail clean-up. Volunteers are encouraged to participate by helping maintain the mission of Keep Loudoun Beautiful:

  • Maintain the natural beauty and visual quality of Loudoun County
  • Encourage and educate citizens to keep Loudoun beautiful
  • Promote public awareness of environmental challenges and suggested solutions, like reducing, reusing, and recycling
  • Improve County trash disposal and eliminate illegal dumping

The Purcellville area leader for Keep Loudoun Beautiful, Clay Grisius, will follow up with those who register to provide additional details about the locations for trash pick-up. For additional information, email Clay at Purcellville.klb@gmail.com or Amie Ware at aware@purcellvilleva.gov
